THE GREAT WORKS OF PAULINE C. LING HUI KHO NG WIKANG FILIPINO & THE KNIGHTS OF RIZAL WITH PRES. NOYNOY AQUINO..

The Great Works of Pauline C. Ling Hui Kho of Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino & The Knights of Rizal with Pres. Noynoy Aquino..

The Knights of Rizal were seen in the aisle side of the Rizal Park Monument and Madam Pauline C. Ling Hui Kho stands behind VIP guest like celebrities and politicians. Who would have thought that these two elements would accidentally tag on honoring our beloved national hero? In Manila, Pres. Benigno Simeon Aquino III led solemn rites at the Rizal Park (Luneta) marking Rizal’s martyrdom by firing squad and centennial of the transfer of his remains from Binondo to Rizal Park. Pres. Aquino said that “the double celebration challenged Filipinos to forge unity in the face of differences.”

KOMISYON SA WIKANG FILIPINO

The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), declared that Tagalog is indeed the National Language. During the advent of Commonwealth Pres. Manuel L. Quezon. It was on December 31, 1937 that Tagalog was chosen as the country’s Nationa Language, eventually giving Pres. Quezon the title of ‘Ama ng Wikang Pambansa’ or the father of Nation al Language. It was a rough road and not easy to convince the Filipinos to accept Tagalog as the National Language since we have several languages to consider. In that aspect, the great thinker have found a very reliable source in the person of our National hero Dr. Jose Rizal.. and that translate in a better way to convince the Filipino to accept Tagalog as the mother tongue of the Filipinos by exemplifying a poem entitled “Sa Aking Mga Kababata” or “To My Fellow Youth”

Sa Aking Mga Kababata
Ang hindi magmahal sa kanyang sariling wika..
Mahigit pa sa hayop at malansang isda.
Kaya marapat ang sariling wika pagyamaning kusa..
Na tulad ng isang tunay na nagpala..

One who doesn’t love his native tongue is worse than a putrid fish and a wild best. A native language is truly a great possession and deserves to be loved and cherished.

THE ORDER OF KNIGHTS OF RIZAL
In addition, same with the Order of Knights of Rizal. It was established on December 30, 1911 and was a legislative charter as a civic and patriotic organization on June 14, 1951 by virtue of Republic Act number 646

Dr. Jose Rizal greatness, his genius and great love of country is a source of pride and inspiration for all mankind. To be identified with this extraordinary man is an honor and privilege that all Filipinos must share and emulate.

Dr. Jose Rizal inspired the Philippines revolution and was executed by firing squad on December 30, 1896 at the age 35 years old for his nationalism and love of country that led to the Philippines Independence from Spain on June 12, 1896.

NATION OBSERVES 116TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF DR. JOSE RIZAL WITH LING HUI KHO OF KOMISYON NG WIKANG FILIPINO..

Ling Hui Kho on Rizal Day!
The annual commemoration to Dr. Jose Rizal last December 30, 2012 created another milestone in Philippine history. Luneta Park was blazed by morning sunlight being awaken to hundred of spectators and believers whom yearly observed the kind of celebration that the government would execute.
From 1977, Madam Pauline C. Ling Hui Kho steadily became one of the loyal attendee to the celebration in remembering and honoring our beloved national hero.
Around 5:30am, Madam arrived in the area with the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino  Head Commissioner Jose Laderas Santos and Bicol Region Commissioner  Bernard Macinas whom wore the uniform of the Knights of Rizal. The occassion started around 7 in the morning when President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III arrived in the scene. The whole coronation was fully-televised by NBN 4 and were watched worldwide.
Pauline C. Ling Hui Kho was so glad being there and doin9g it annually. Jose Rizal was one of the reason why Amah started to love Filipino culture and be a part of it. She said that this activity will always be a tradition to her and will forever deal to the facts that Jose Rizal expressed during his revolutionary tenure. (VerGarcia&RoughBlogs)

INVEST NOW IN THE PHILIPPINES.. THE COUNTRY IS STABLE AND GROWING LEAPS AND BOUNDS!! NEED SOME FOREIGN INVESTORS.. By: Ver M. Garcia

Solar Panels giving the needed electricity and power to far flung areas and secluded homes.

WOW.. Thank God our external debt to the IMF-World Bank amounting  to the tune of of USD 60Billion was already paid!! That's According to the report submitted by the Phil. Central Bank Gov. Armando Tetangco.. If this is true then we are the most stable country in the world.. Monies and dollars keep on coming.. thanks to the heroic contributions of our OFW's, Seamen and  BPO's Industry.. they deserve our kudos for this magnificent contribution..

So therefore, we need to invite foreign investors.. to venture on business that will redound to the benefit of the people.. exclude mining for this will only destroy and harm our environment.. Instead, invest on transport industry.. like encourage them to develop E-Jeepneys, E-Bus, E-Trikes.. and extensions of Light Railway Transit.. to provide the public with the most clean, cheaper and less cost transport.. Those will help zero in with air pollution and help in the clean air act.. done with the tollgates.. this will only increase or exacerbate  the cost of commodities.. coz higher fees on the tollgates can no longer be afforded by the riding public..

One industry that foreign investments are needed is in the power sector.. How about solar energy and windmills?.. The cost of electricity in the Philippines  is very prohibitive.. we are the highest among our neighboring countries next to Japan.. What's happening in this sector maybe we need to review our Energy Regulatory Board and the Power Sector Industry.. to come up with the study on how to lower the cost of electricity.. If foreign investments can help on this regard why not?

Tourism industry is also one industry that we have long disregarded.. the disparity of visitors travelling in ASEAN member countries were already to the tune of 25 million visitors annually compared to the Phils. We can only invite 2.5 millions tourist.. this is only 10 percent of the total tourists visiting Malaysia..

Maybe the problem is peace and order and security.. or cleanliness of the surrounding areas.. they said that Philippines is dirty.. I don't think so.. we are the cleanest in terms of grooming.. taking a bath daily.. changing clothes daily and armpits smelling clean always.. So therefore.. why don't we focus with  this problem of security concern.. secure our visitors to the best of our knowledge and ability!!

Our lawmakers should increase the penalty for those who would harm our foreign visitors or tourists.. Maybe, you have other suggestions.. we must participate in the nation building.. that's the only way to help our beloved country.. (VerGarciaBlogs)

Sen. Trillanes Spearheads Basic Needs in Education..

SEN. ANTONIO "SONNY" F. TRILLANES IV

15 JULY 2012

Trillanes: Let’s address first the basic problems of education

Senator Antonio “Sonny” F. Trillanes IV wants the government to solve the basic problems confronting the education sector instead of pushing the K to 12 program of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The government rolled out the K to 12 program this June to produce “employable youth”, but at a hearing last June 5 of the Senate Committee on Education, no less than DepEd admitted that the additional two years in basic education would not address the diminishing quality of education.

According to Trillanes, the poor quality of the country’s education system will only be solved by first addressing the fundamental problems such as lack of teachers, low salary, shortage of classrooms, chairs and textbooks.

“Once we provide a conducive learning environment, it’s going to reflect on the student’s performance in school. We’ll have to do those basics first before we think of more complex issues of curriculum change,” Trillanes explained.

Trillanes, however, clarified that he was not totally against the K to 12 program. “I’m not ruling it out. But we can’t really pinpoint the problem if we haven’t solved the basic problems first because, like I’ve said, the 10-year basic education program worked for generations before and the public school system before was competitive with the private school. Besides, the economic burden of two more years may be too much to bear for the parents during these trying times.”

Trillanes also debunked DepEd’s claim that the program will address the youth unemployment, saying “If the college graduates don’t have employment opportunities then how much more for the high school graduates? So whether they are employable or not, will they be employed to begin with?”

According to Trillanes, K to 12 plan will not only entail additional costs to government but also to parents who are already burdened by the escalating prices of food, utilities, gasoline and LPG, among others. (VerGarciaBlogs)
